Episode 21

• September 13th, 2018

On this episode I talk about a place in Kansas City that I've cared about for many years, and that is now in danger.  Epperson House is on the UMKC campus, and it's been closed and sealed up.  I fear that unless something can be done to figure out how to renovate the historic building that it may be torn down.  I read and discuss an article I wrote about the history of the mansion and the years of neglect that it's had to endure.  I'm hoping to raise an alarm and spread awarness about it's plight in order to find a way to save an important piece of Kansas City history.

This is my tribute to Art Bell.  He was the founder and host of what I consider to have been the greatest radio talk show of all time.  He and his show were what inspired me to do my own creepy podcast.  Art passed away on April 13, 2018 after a long illness.  But he leaves behind an amazing archive of his life in broadcasting.  I mix in some of my favorite clips of his shows for you to enjoy.  It was a great ride, Mr. Bell...
